Is my phone picking up someone elses signal somehow?
This is strange, but the other day while I was on the phone with my girlfriend the phone signal got poor, with lots of static. I could barely hear her talking, but what's even more weird is I could hear two other voices that were clearer sounding than her.
I thought perhaps she was walking by her dads TV because it's normally loud. But she wasn't, and there weren't any TV's on.. and I was in my truck.
Fast forward to now. We were on the phone again.. she was in her room with the TV off. I heard someone elses voice through my phone. She didn't hear it on any occasion.
Anyone have any idea what could be going on? Is this common... somewhat?

The switch might have routed the voice call to both your line and the correct line.

I would be making a phone call to our technical support line after each time this happens. It's tough to diagnose something like this when we don't know where you are at, what equipment you are using, etc. By calling support, they can look at conditions immediately and provide a better response based on what they find. It could be equipment failure on either end, pure dumb luck, or something else I'm not aware of.

Well I never called them before. However, it just happened again for maybe 4 or 5 seconds. I heard crackling and some voices. It wasn't anything on the other line, and the person I was on the phone with said they didn't hear it.

I dont know but it almost sounds like something from one of those japanese horror movies like the ring, etc.

do you have a palm centro? theres an issue with the palm centro where it can be cloned. palm released a free firmware upgrade to fix it its avail at palm.com or something.
