My friend has the centro by palm (sprint carrier) and with her texting messages, it shows up like a chat...i was wondering if any verizon phones had that feature?!?! I'm due for an upgrade and I was just wondering if verizon had a phone like that, preferably an LG.

As far as I have seen. I work for VZW and Blackberrys are capable of that. The only thing is the other person your messaging needs a blackberry so you can use BB messenger (kind of like AIM) Explain your needs in a phone and I can direct you. Definately dont buy a phone because of text messaging displays.

Env2 is great. Reception is rated relatively high. It seems like text messaging is your thing so that would be a definate choice. If your looking for features it has a majority of them. Nav., Mobile Email (premium plans) etc etc. the stereo speakers are good. If you can get past the calculatror look of it when its closed you good.

Stay away from the Samsung Glyde. IMO and in customers opinions the touch is not very responsive. Signal is mid-range/high low-range and for people with bigger fingers the top rowq is hard to reach. If price isnt an issue the Dare is good as well.

The camera lacks a flash, so it's not so great for dim lighting, obviously. I'm pretty sure that it also lacks auto-focus.
