anyone know about BB data plan special pricing
I was talking with a co worker today who has the pearl....she really likes it...and she said that she gets a special promo pricing for 20.99 for the data package per month. I told her I was sure it was 29.99 per month....but she pulled up her bill online for the last several months and sure as S*&T she is right....plus she gets a discount for being a state employee.....so has anyone else heard of this 20.99 pricing? Thank you.

Do you happen to know what your friend's employee discount % is? If it's over 25% (which I haven't heard of) then that would make the data plan to come out to around the $20.99.
What is the name of the plan that your friend has? There are 2 plans in the $20.00 range.
There's the $24.99 10 MB plan and $29.99 a month email and web for BB (no corporate email).

She has the 29.99 unlimited per month...and the charge was 20.99 and then she gets an 18% discount on her monthly bill for being a state employee...and as I said I saw her bills for the last couple months which she pulled up online and the charge is 20.99 plus her monthly minutes plan and she gets 18% discount on top of that.....she was told by the Verizon CS rep that the 20.99 was a promotional pricing.

Yes the reason it is discounted isnt because of a special. It is most likely because her employer profile has an add'l discount of Data features usually around 20%
