Just a tiny suggestion to upset customers...

I was a customer before I worked for Verizon. I completely understand the frustration that comes with policies that you do not understand. I totally get it. However, if you approach me in a respectful manner and ask me your questions, I will fully explain everything and help you understand. At the end of our conversation, more than likely we will reach and agreement and because you have been patient and understanding with me, and I with you, I will probably bend over backwards to help you out.

If you approach me as an ally, I will more than likely help you out. If you approach me as an enemy, I will more than likely fight back.

I totally signed up for this job and I know it's just p...

I'm in the same boat. I was a custy before an employee too. I'm proud to say that I was the guy that never brought my "issues" back into the store, EVER. My phone danced around on the charger? Whatever. I dealt with it. Battery charge bad? It's 2 years old-- Replaced the battery. DUH.

i hate the people that come to me all pissy and make like i'm the one who caused their issue

dont come in yelling at me for something i didnt do. and when i tell you your options, dont yell at me because its not what you wanted to hear (which was probably that i'd just give you a free phone. aint gonna happen!)

People in general do not have respect for anyone except themselves. They expect the world to revolve around them, and we can't blame them because it's America. I want this now, my way, my price..me..me..me.. annoying. It makes people who work for stuff sick, and realize some people should get their heads out of their *** and then get a life. I agree!

When I get to that point with a customer, I tell them to give customer service a try because some times customer service does some weird things to keep a customer.
