I bought the V710 about 10 days ago before the LG 8000 came out. I am now thinking about taking my V710 back to get the 8000. I would like to here from V710 owners who made the switch. Is there a data cable for the 8000?

There are a lot of third party retailors selling a vx8000 data kit, if u use one of these and your 8000 frys because of it then don't call vzw and complain that we sold you a faulty phone.

I just switched from the v710 to the 8000. I would reccomend that switch be made by everyone that has a v710. The 8000 is so much better. The picture quality is far superior. The build quality of the phone is much better as well. And the EVDO (V-Cast) is wonderful.

As far as the data cable is concerned, you can use the one for the 7000 on the 8000. You can get this at your friendly local radioshack.
