I'm also wondering why Michigan isn't on the list. There are some large metro areas where Verizon and Alltel are the two cellular carriers in those areas. Maybe it's because of the competition of other carriers? So I'm wondering if that means that if in areas where both Alltel and Verizon overlap but don't have to divest, Verizon would just remove redundant Alltel towers and keep ones that are useful?
