Why Verizon's Charges Are So High To Subscribers

66 cents in diluted EPS and 67 cents in adjusted EPS (non-GAAP), compared with 2Q 2007 diluted EPS of 58 cents both on a reported and adjusted basis.
Wireless

Highest net adds in the industry - 1.5 million net customer additions; 68.7 million total customers; 66.7 million retail (non-wholesale) customers, most in the industry, up 11.0 percent.
Record low churn - 1.12 ...

People also seem to have absolutely no idea that VZW easily puts more money into its network each year than any other carrier. If higher prices are improving and maintaining the quality of service, then why complain?

So high to subscribers? With the exception of Sprint, who would probably give me one of their stores to sign a contract with them, this is simply NOT TRUE!!
In the past, this used to be the case, but now, with some small differences in benefits, ATT and VZW have the EXACT SAME pricing structure.
As far as T-Mo goes, yes, their prices look great in theory, but I have MANY friends and family that jumped for that boat, and have ended up with MUCH higher bills.
However, it is true, that you get what you pay for. VZW has the most reliable network (notice that they don't have to change their name, or their campaign slogan every other week), for a reason ... they do, in fact, invest more into the network than any other provider out there.
