Cell phone industry not making any new fans

People love their cell phones, but hate their cell phone providers. The Better Business Bureau now reports that the cell phone business has received more complaints than any other industry for 3 consecutive years. We're not talking about dropped calls here; we're talking about those rotten 2-year contracts. Clark is hard-pressed to find another country in the world that does these contracts.

this isn't exactly news Joe. It is common knowledge that the cell phone industry has been at the bottom in regards to customer satisfaction. However, at the bottom of the pits, VZW still outranks the rest of the carrier in regards to customer satisfaction. If not, then they are extremely close with T-Mobile.

Thats right, a small dog with a small bite you simply cannot overcome.....Why is that?

Why can't you be among the 99% who do not feel "offended" enough by my rants and observations to chime in with instant defensive machinations and blather. I would say If I am a small dog you are in every way as small or smaller having to "stoop to my level"...Ya think? I certainly hope you are sterile.

Clark is hard-pressed to find another country in the world that does these contracts.

Its kinda far away, but if you look real hard you can find an obscure small country that does this, its Canada.

also, those countries that dont have contracts charge full price for phones. i'm sure the average cheap a$$ american would rather have a 2 yr contract than pay $300+ for a phone.

but either way, they will continue to whine and cry til they get what they think they want

canada is an exception. they have 3 year contracts! also, in europe and asia contracts are becoming more and more popular but with a contract there you get a high end phone like the n-95 for basically free.

They're also ripping off teens (and their parents) by billing on behalf of third party carriers that offer ring tones and other premium services.

They have to get billed somehow. There's only one bill that shows up. Teens and parents should get ringtones from VZW if they want them or find websites like mobile17.com that allows users to upload songs and use them as ringtones.
