You said you have software version 05?

The latest is version 07 and I do believe it helps out with the browser issue. I'd have to re-check the software release notes, but I think the software flash will be a good resolution.

I doubt Best Buy will be able to t/s or warranty the phone, take it to the carrier. Version 07 is the latest software available. Take it in to a corp store 🙂

Her answer actually pisses me off. It doesn't take any technical training or certification to do it. All it takes the the know-how to hook a cable into the phone and operate the mouse on a computer!

Hook it up, select LG, select VX10000, select the latest software (the only software listed for the phone actually) and hit start!

If I were you, I'd want to avoid having to re-set up everything on another phone if possible. Redoing all of the contact picture ID's, ringer ID's, etc would be a pain. I'd just try the software if I were you.
