Help needed

I just bought 2 Moto W755 phones for my wife and daughter.

Even though the menu Settings & Tools, Sound Settings, Power On/Off, Power On (and Power Off) are set to off, my phones announce "Verizon Wireless" when they're turned on. They also announce "Verzion Wireless" when a call is received and then start playing the ring tone.

Any way to stop this phone from saying "Verizon Wireless" all the time?

If i'm not mistaken that's called ERI banner alert. Do you see that anywhere in Sound Settings --> Alerts?? Sorry I don't know where to find that without using my resources at work

Under the Sound Setting, Service Alerts, set ERI to "off".

After you get that straightened out, try this one and let me know if it works...

Under sound settings, alert sounds, set your missed call to vibrate on, reminder every two minutes. Then exit out and turn your master volume to vibrate only.

Place a call to your phone & don't answer it. Let me know if it vibrates every two minutes or not. Mine and others don't (even though it's supposed to), yet Verizon has no answer and Motorola is clueless.

I got mine when it first came out, but I tried it out on mine, and it does not work either...
