I am eligible for an upgrade in a month and I want a new phone. What do you all recommend would be the best phone out? I have read all of the reviews and I went to the store and I really like the env2 because I really like the keyboard.
I had the Env and I had to file an insurance claim and got the Samsung Alias...I like the phones with the QWERTY keyboard because I text so much...
What do you think? Im not trying to be rude but if you are going to reply to this and just talk bad about VZW then dont even waste your time. I just want some advice...thats all.

Go to a store and handle the enV2, Glyde, and Voyager. If large phone size bothers you, enV2 is the only way to go if you want to be a VZW customer. There are no comparable devices unless you wait for the smart-phone abortion (a.k.a. The Blitz) to come out.

I don't think ANYONE will be buying this phone- so you'll be the only one on your block to have one, for sure. Now there's a status symbol to be proud of!

Who needs an iPhlem?

way to ask for advice and be a rude ass at the same time....
But seriously the Env2 is the best full keyboard phone out for the price. Personally I also liked my voyager before I got the dare, but if you liked your env you should love the new one. The outside screen is really the only drawback but you get used to it and it gets the job done.

I just said that because I was reading through some posts and some of the things said get out of control.

There is NO "BEST" Verizon phone.....Even you must hear the truth even though you clearly stated you did not want to,

The truth will set you free...

When it comes to best phone it is always up to personal preference. We get it you like at&t. Hell I have voice plan with at&t and text messaging plan with VZW you do not see me talking smack and looking like a total fanboy moron.

I would definetly recommend the ENV2 or if you dont mind the extra 30.00 a month for data the bb curve kicks ass. The env2 is much smaller and less bulkier than the first one.....its exactly like the voyager minus the horrible touchscreen

The phones that I have tried out and liked most for texting is anything LG from the V to the EnV2 and any of the newer Blackberry devices (minus the pearl if suretype is not your thing). If you upgrade to a Blackberry you'll have to pay at least 29.99 a month on top of your minute plan (definitely worth it with the 4.5 software). Hope that helps!
