Hey everybody,

My voyager keeps doing what i think is called "power cycling" which it turns off randomly usually when I'm in a call or using messenger services. Anywho, i was given the option to get a new phone of my choice since I've replaced this phone like 4 times already. Do any of you tech savvy vzw techs out there know if this can be fixed or should i just give up and get a new phone?

If a new phone is what i should do what do u guys think is the best phone out there right now thats reliable, and good for web, mms, gps, ims, etc. everybody keeps talking about a blackberry but i think i would have to change my plan for that phone.

Appreciate any feedback

SUNNY 😁

Curve is the best overall phone out right now for verizon, but you will have to add atleast a 10MB data plan for 24.99.

True, but Curve is not a comparable device. Good luck getting VZW to upgrade you to a Blackberry. The lemon-law program is usually for phones of equal or lesser value only, and they go by retail price, not contract price.

you dont know what they might do for her tho, and who is to say that she wont come out of pocket for a new phone.

She asked what the best phone was, and the BB curve is my choice

I just had this same problem with my Voyager and have had it swapped out 4 times. They upgraded me to the Dare, which from what I hear is a great phone. I am going to go pick it up from FedEx after work today. You should try the Dare.

Were you at the store or was this over the phone wiht customer care? I paid NOTHING for the dare, I got a holster and vehicle charger too... But I have to send all my old equipement back.

I was told that the Dare was equal to the Voyager thats why I did it.

Thats odd???

Also be aware that this type of Multi Exchange will reset your upgrade eligibility dates. If you signed a 2 year contract to originally get the Voyager your dates for a discount to a new phone will be reset 20 months from the day you get that new phone.
