When will Verizon get new phones with qwerty or thumb keyboards?
I want a phone with a QWERTY or thumb keyboard but I do not want a phone/PDA combination. Does anyone know when Verizon is going to start offering phones with this option? All the other carriers have them why is it taking Verizon so long to provide its customers with the newest and latest equipment available?

A classic question. The answer, as far as I know, is that I don't know. Haven't heard of any plans to release phones, but it may be at least in part due to the fact that there aren't many manufacturers producing CDMA handsets such as the one you describe...
