I can't decide, tell me what you think.
I had thought of getting the LG VX-8000 camera phone at a Verizon store, but they wanted over $300 for that phone without a contract.
Now that I am a "free agent" meaning I can go to any carrier, it seems that the VX 8000 is the only worthy phone that I see of any interest.
It seems that CDMA and GSM here in North Central Florida(Gainesvile) both work equally well.
It takes Verizon forever to get new phones and as GSM carriers get them every month.
The biggest problem I am having with Verizon is that I get a least 2 text messages everyday( always spam). I told Verizon...

Yes, also on Vtext.com you can block all web based TXT messages. Meaning that if only your friends TXT you, and they're doing it from their phone, those messages won't be blocked.
I also want to assure you that Vzw isn't the one sending these TXT messages, and no, there are no guarantees the spam will stop if you go to another carrier. In fact, if you port your number, they definately won't stop.
A VzW rep can add you to VzWs internal 'Do Not Call' list which included a section for Txt messaging, voicemail, snail mail, etc. Also, they can put a media suppression in the billing system, or they can block TXT messaging...
