So I am listening to my sports morning talk show and there is a segment where he connects with other parts of the nation to talk about what's going on there (spannin' the globe) in the sports world. He connects with this lady's cell phone who is over at ESPN Baltimore and asked her a question - couldn't get an answer so he asks again - but no answer.
Colin (on the air) - "Must be a dropped call, let's try this again. She really needs to get Verizon. I tell all of my guests that."

I love the herd! Jim rome is still my favorite sports talk guy, but the Herd is right up there.

I try listening to Jim Rome but he's too much of a meat head to me - or at least he sounds like one, hahaha.

you gotta listen for a couple of weeks and learn his tone. Most people hate him at first. But he has great interviews, and is prolly one of the funniest radio personalities Ive ever heard.

You gotta give it more time. He is one of the most successful talk show hosts around, let alone sports radio. I have been listening to him since 1991 when he was just on local San Diego radio. The guy is abasolutely one of the funniest and knowledgable sports guys around.

Ive been listening ever since high school!, Its been almost 10 years for me now. He really is good at what he does. And I personally love his style!

The thing that sucks is that they took him off the air where I live in Lubbock, TX. When I opened stores in El Paso I weas relieved to find he was on there.
