Im gonna be porting over from at&t and was thinking of geting this phone but was wondering if you can start the music player with it open then close it and put it your pocket without it stopping the music? And can you watch youtube videos on this phone?

I'm pretty sure you can play music with it closed, and the answer for youtube is no.

Yes you can listen to the music while it is closed, whether you start the music player from the inside or the outside does not matter. There is no interruption if you start the music player with the phone open and then close it either. Hope this is what you are looking for!
