Time for an upgrade and am considering one of these two phones. Not a novice user, actually have worked in the industry for over 10yrs. Quite familiar with the curve (on the GSM side, currently work for the "other" major carrier) and has seemed to be a solid performer although somewhat bulky. Not familiar with the EnV2 although it's gotten quite good overall reviews. Would like some input...

ignore, after further investigation with VZW, the Curve requires a 25month charge for full email push even from a personal desktop, which was why I had considered, Not surprised as the carrier I work for jumps the data plans as well for PDA's/BB. Moderator please remove..

It's $29.99 and has nothing to do with your "desktop."
I think you mean push email from a personal account and not a corporate account.
I really wish we could actually get some accurate information out to people...sigh.

You need to go to grammar school young man and also refrain from commenting unless you have the right information.

If you need internet I would say the curve since its a mandatory add on for VZW. If not and you want to save money get the env2

get the curve...best choice, best phone!
env2 is kiddy and not that great looking!

I actually got the Env2 not too long ago and I absolutely love the phone! I don't use any data features though, and couldn't touch on the messaging aspects. All I know is you wouldn't have to worry about a trackball crapping out on you. The Env2 is built very sturdy.

Both are really great phones, it just depends on what you are using your phone for. If you browse the web and would like push email than the bb curve is for you, if you like to text and don't care about full web browsing than the env2 is the better choice. good luck

Or if you don't like the form factor. I've never cared for the sideways phones such as the Voyager, EnVs, etc. Just personal preference, though. I'd rather have a bigger phone that doesn't flip sideways.
