Billing/Discount Question

skippy

My husband and I both work for our state and my husband is in the National Guard and we have a family share plan. Are we eligible for both the discounts...from the state and from the military?

I ask because several people we work with that are both state employees and NG members receive both discounts combined from a different carrier. I love Verizon and the service but it would be hard to pass up switching for 40% off my monthly cell phone bill. Thank you.

You would only be eligible for 1 discount. This discount would depend on who is the account holder as the account hold is the only one that is eligible for the employee discount. It would apply to the primary line's monthly access, for example: 700 Basic family share primary $60.00 * 20%= $12.00 discount. It does not apply to the secondary lines or features (insurance, etc).

you might want to check you're bill again.. lines of service are only eligible for a discount if they are $34.99 or higher (which rules out 9.99 adds) dalily21 gave the right info 100%. what every line does qualify for is a discount off of data features..

Yeah it's $34.99 or higher. You may possibly be on an old _old_ plan that is specific to your company.

For instance boeing and that other plane company (slipping my mind) have special calling plans that only those employees can get.

However, they are no longer available with anything. If you switch you lose it and are put on the standardized price plan if your company has renegotiated a contract with VZW.
