Nav on advanced devices update

* The launch of VZNavigator 4.0 on the following BlackBerry devices, originally scheduled for Sept. 8 has been delayed
* The new launch is tentatively schedule for Sept. 18
* The following advanced devices are the first that will be VZ Navigator 4.0 compatible as of launch:
* BlackBerry 8830 World Edition Smartphone (Maintenance Release II (MR2) is required - software is version 4.2.2.176)
* BlackBerry Pearl 8130
* BlackBerry Curve 8330

Interesting, because my 8330 shows ver 2.9.9. How will we get this newer version as an update?

Probably by re-downloading the client and having it overwrite your existing one. You'll be able to tell if it's giving you a different version number when it asks you what to do

Correct. I have a BB Pearl and the previous version of VZ Navigator. I went to the Browser, clicked on the VZ Nav icon, attempted to download it again (the download screen will show version 4.1.0 instead of the old 2.9.9), it asked me if I wanted to replace the older version with the newer version, clicked yes -- boom, pow (reboot) -- done.
