I agree bro, but its not your companies policy, VZW makes all agents collect a $3 "processing" fee. We get very little of it.

Or you could be like our local indirect and not charge the customer the 3 bucks.

Wow... they are losing money on every transaction then. Verizon charges the Indirect .75 on each bill payment taken. Ours is usually $30-$40 a month.

Verizon only charges 75 cents on each datascape transaction. It is up to the Indirect agent how much on top of that they charge. It is the company you work for taking that addition 2.25 just to make money.

We do the same. I think it's a little bogus...which is why I pay all my balance on my phone and don't get charged an extra $3 per payment. Forget it...

Last time I checked, Calumet City Illinois & Vaparaiso Indiana corporate stores didn't have the self-serve payment machines. The salesperson still had to take the payments. Local to me, only the Merrillville Indiana store near Meijer had that machine, and it was mandatory to make payments at the machine at this location. The sales staff are only able to handle customers wanting to buy phones & accessories, or technical issues with their phones. So now, bacause that location mandates people sign in before they can do anything, I just go to the Circuit City location to handle all my transactions. Screw that. 😡
