phone upgrade

Does anyone know, when Verizon changes prices on phones? I'm eligible for an upgrade, but I don't want to buy now & see the price drop next week. I like the LG7000 & now that the LG8000 is out, I expected the price to drop.

Probably not they are both priced for there features, 300 for an 8000, 200 for a 7000,

Well, I'm going to make the stock market comparison here and tell you that there is no guarantee on any equipment prices going up or down at any given time. Reps generally find out at most 3-4 days ahead usually the night before. And I don't think I'm going out on a limb here when I say that anyone who is high up to know enough in advandance, is not going to tell you.

However, cellular is by and large retail and if you follow retail trends you can generally guess when phone prices well be going down. i.e. Christmas time, beginning of summer, and back to school.

Oh and you should also know that new phones generally do NOT effect older handset pricing. The carrier usually sells the phone at it's current going rate or just removes it fro...
