I currently have a BB Curve. Looking to change phones, mainly due to the $30 data plan.

Needs:
Easy sync with MS Outlook for calendar and address book
2.0 MP or higher camera

Wants:
Touch screen or qwerty keyboard
$15.00 per month internet access.
Camera with a flash
Micro SD slot

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any asistance provided.

You'll need a regular phone if you want the $15 VPak unlimited web plan. The PDA's or Blackberry's do not support it. The Voyager, Dare, and Glyde have the full web browser support. However, you can not sync with the regular phones to Outlook via USB cable. YOu can through Get it Now wirelessly for $19.99 a month.

The Dare has a 3.2 camera, and the others have a 2.0 camera. Bluetooth support, full key board and music capability. Hope that helped.

So if I understand this, unless I have a smartphone, or unless I pay 20/month for Get It Now, I will not be able to sync my calendar or contacts via USB cable?

Say it ain't so!

You need to use bitpim and the cable or buy a bluetooth dongle.

I use bluetooth and synced calender events with outlook no problem with both the voyager and the Dare

added note.. I suggest bitpim, when I go the bluetooth it is more of a cut and paste method not a true sync. If you change something on pc you will have to change on handheld or clear everything and copy paste all over again. I dumped about 30 events and then later I dumped 20 more no problem, but If i had an event coming up and something changed like the time i physically changed in pc then had to physically change it on dare, no way to hook it up and just download the one change.(hopefully that made sense) Now the bitpim route is supposed to work better, i used it on voyager through the cable and it worked great, have not tried it on Dare since I am caring a BB now

Thanks for that information, I will look up bitpim when I get home and see if it works with my Dare I received yesterday. I did use the bluetooth method to get my contacts and calendar events over...one at a time.

Oh one more tip in outlook with the calender. Change the view to active apointments then it is easier to select all or use the hold ctrl and pick the ones you want
