How is coverage in the Tampa area?

My folks are thinking of getting Verizon or Metro PCS, and they live in the Tampa area (go Rays!). How's Verizon's coverage in that general Tampa Bay area?

verizon coverage is great, i havent dropped a call there ever, and i go there just about every other week
