What phone is good on VZW these days..
So...I'm upgrade eligible and am looking to get a different phone. Currently I have the Motorola V9m and am tired of having clumps of dust collect under the outside LCD. I have been looking at the Blackberry Storm (of course this is all on-line) and the LG Dare--I do a lot of texting and want something with some sort of calender, mp3 player and bluetooth...if you have any other suggestions, please let me know!

I use a BB curve which is a fantastic device if you dont mind paying for the data plan. The LG dare, is okay, but the storm will blow it out of the freakin water!
There are some other solid devices out right now, but I think the best is about to come out in the next month or so. I would wait till the storm is released and check it out, then make your final decision.

That's probably what I'll do...I hate to go into a store to look at the Storm when it comes out because I'm sure it'll be crazy in there...and since I'm probably going to purchase on line I hate to tease the store reps like that, especially after reading so many agents gripe about it

whatever, if vzw reps dont like their jobs then they should quit. Rejection and loss is part of sales, and Im in sales so I know the feeling. Just be up front and honest about why you're in there and im sure they will be cool.

I will also probably wait until after the storm for the Storm is over. I was excited about a new phone, but now, I don't even care anymore, my MotoQ works just fine.

Oh, there are things that I wish it could do. Specifically, I wish it could do YouTube, and I wish it had an FM radio. It is not so good at podcasts either. However, for phone calls and surfing the web, it works well. Plus, I have lots of third party software that gives much improved functionality. Smartphone technology has not changed a whole lot because it's still the same features, upgraded, that are being offered by VZW. I will upgrade this phone soon, maybe to Blackberry, but then I would lose all of my 3rd party software. So, I may hold out for a new Windows 6.1 phone, especially if one comes out with a 3.5mm ear phone jack. Even after having my MotoQ for two years, I have never found a great case for it. So people can quit wasting sales reps time to find the "right phone" and then not buy it from them. Check it out now if you don't believe...

I just don't care dealing with stores if I can help it...I'd rather just get everything taken care of on-line where I can see everything that I'm doing...I'm the only one to blame if something wrong with the order sinc I'm the one who put it in, and I don't have a lot of time to waste in a store when it'll take me like 5 minutes to order it on-line and have it shipped to my job where someone can sign for it and I can get it all set up on my own time.
