Are the Vzw USB aircards mac friendly?

My subject pretty much says it all, but I was wondering if the USB aircards for verizon worked on a Mac computer. If anyone has experience with this please let me know!

I've set it up for a couple customers and it worked great (um150) no problem at all the software at vzam.net works great and walks you right through the process

There are only two usb data cards that vzw sells right now. The UM175 and the USB727.

Of the two the UM175 is a better option. It comes with the Y-cable extension so you can place it in a window and such. (Remember signal strength directly correlates with throughput speed on data cards). It does support mac os x and the only quirk is you can't receive text messages to it like windows mobile device.

As far as problems with any of the cards and mac... There aren't any specific to mac that don't occur on windows computers aswell. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool.

In tech support mac calls are just few and far between, not to mention we aren't trained much on macs. The people that excel and never have problems with mac troubleshoo...

Ren0 is correct on everything except if you have a mac with an express card slot, our express card modem does work.
