BlackBerry 4.5 Device Software - Curve (8330) & Pearl (8130)
Overview: New 4.5 Device Software has been released for the BlackBerry Curve and Pearl.
·      DC inventory for the Pearl (Silver and Pink) started shipping effective 11/1 with 4.5 device software
o    � � Note: boxes will have a yellow dot denoting 4.5 software
·      The Curve (8330) will follow the standard running change process for firmware updates
Resolution: Existing customers looking to be upgraded may access the new software via a computer by following these steps:
1.     Go to www.verizonwireless.com/data
2.     Select Phone / Device Brand
3.     Select BlackBerry from the list of manufactures
4.     Select the appropriate model (Curve or Pearl)
5.     Select BlackBerry 4.X Software (located at the bottom of the page) in the Downloads section
Important Reminder: Direct Communication stores do not support software upgrades of advanced devices.

I dont seem to be getting html email, but everything loaded ok when I did the upgrade last night.

yep, just did that, now its working! Lovin the html.

Hey guys. I have been roaming around the site for almost 4 yrs and finally decided to register and actually post something, so go easy on the new guy. My problem is this: I just upgraded my curve to the new firmware and resent service books but my emails still aren't in html. Any ideas? Thanks!

while you are in your email folder. click the blackberry button, then go to options, then go to email settings, then make sure html is checked.
Thats what I had to do. Also, you may have to send your service books more than once, and make sure you do a battery pull and do a complete restart as well.
