It is very dissapointing that Verizon has not come out with a new PDA
they are comming out with new ones, and the best ones. and the year isnt over so relax. besides auto rotation, the 6800 still does almost everything the rest do

PDAs that came out in the past YEAR: HTC Touch, Moto Q9C, BlackBerry Curve, Palm Centro, Palm Treo 755p. Upcoming: Samsung Omnia, i770, and another HTC will be out in the coming month or so. Not to mention a Storm is brewing...

Wait for the i770. The thing that drove me from the i760 to the XV6800 was the STUPID placement of the call and hang up buttons on the side of the phone. I was constantly hanging up on people!

wait for the HTC Touch Pro (VX 6850) to come out. or the Samsung Omnia. both are windows mobile phones. the touch pro has a great touch screen and slide out full keyboard. both should be out in Nov!

Moto q9c came out, the touch, and there will be a few others coming out soon.
Windows mobile is a small portion of the smart phone market, it's more dedicated to RIM than anything, and is an afterthought anymore to verizon i'm sure. RIM controls a ridiculous portion of smart phone sales, so that's where you are going to see any company putting their focus... and with them getting docs to go and full html email, *shrug* just making it even less competitive for laggy, unresponsive windows mobile phones.
