Here is an answer to the ATT fanboys that are blasting Verizon Wireless for buying Alltel and therefore taking the Best to the Biggest.
You all are hating because someone can buy a customer base. First, Verizon Wireless is buying Alltel at a good rate and picking up quick spectrum in rural areas that VZW didn't have coverage before. 2nd, it is an easier transition then Cingular and Att; and Sprint and Nextel due to the obvious reason...technology.
Now, let us say they "bought" their way to a top spot. In this world of crumbling financial empires, doesn't it show that one company was fiscally responsible enough to be in a position to buy Alltel. VZW doesn't operate at a low profit like some other carriers. No, they keep thier busines...

Verizon does invest a lot of time in money into maintaining their network. They learned from the old AT&T Wireless, which did not do this, and that's why it had to sell itself.
And honestly, even the new AT&T does not invest the same effort into their network. They think that having a so-so network is ok. Well I showed them! I've had Verizon for over a week now!

Actually it is a better network. My 20 year old neighbor couldn't wait to get out of her AT&T contract and switch to Verizon. She couldn't handle dropped calls and having no service in her house or at her college...despite the "they have better phones" mantra, and you know how important that cell phone is to a kid...

Putting someone on blast because of their opinions is no worse than the "troll" attitude you are degrading.
So he has negative stuff to say about verizon,that's what helps us improve, just like we do at&t, or sprint, or whatever. Just because he posts it doesn't make him a troll, makes him a part of the community. You can ignore his comments and you don't have to read what he is saying, and if you do, respond directly to that post, don't put him on blast,and when you do respond, respond intelligently.

1st...I didn't "Call" anyone a troll. I stated what a troll is. Yes, it gets so old on here to see the same stuff...over and over and over. Crippled phones, nickle and diming...etc. People want Sprint pricing with Verizon's customer care and network and GSM phones.
