Besides a Storm what else is coming?

I'm not a true blue phonophile like many on this forum (I have a 3 yr old treo 650). Seems to me the Storm is going to cost me more/month on top of whatever the phone itself will cost. What else is coming out in the next couple of months in the smart phone/pda category that's worth looking into. I'm definitely ready for a new phone/PDA but don't want to pay extra per month just to have a BB. Thanks in advance for the input.

If you don't want to pay extra I'd buy a PDA now because on November 14th all new PDA's (along with any PDA activated on or after the 14th) will require a data plan of $29.99 or higher just like a BB.

I have everything now but you're saying it will cost an extra $29.99/month? For what? I currently pay for unlimited data $35.99/month)and 250 txt ($5.00/month). Is this different? Yikes!! What phone(s) would you suggest/recommnd? Thx again.

Not as long as you have a data plan already, this is just for people who purchase a PDA and then don't want to do a data package, Pay as you use pricing will simply no longer be available. If you already have a data plan than you should wait a couple of weeks for the Samsung Omnia a full touchscreen Windows Mobile 6.1 with TouchWiz UI, 5 MP camera, and Wi-Fi. Or you could get the Samsung Saga which is a more traditional PDA setup similar to the Samsung Blackjack. A good place to find info would be either phonearena.com or engadgetmobile.com

Feature wise yes, who knows how good they are until they are actually released, I'm going for the Storm, but I'm a BB fanboy...hell I'll probably get the Omnia too, I can't resist a cool gadget.
