Can someone from verizon explain this to me?
"With Nationwide Select Calling Plans you get Unlimited Text, Picture, Video Messaging and Instant Messaging to anyone on any network in the U.S. Messaging is available from within the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area, and is not available throughout the Nationwide Rate and Coverage Area"
...
The second sentence refers to the fact that messaging capabilities may not function EVERYWHERE that you have voice service. I'm pretty sure that text messaging should work anywhere you have voice service in the U.S., but not all extended areas support PIX/FLIX messaging, although most do.
Do keep in mind that people on America's Choice plans WON'T be able to do data sessions on a regular cell phone (i.e. sending or receiving PIX/FLIX messages) in extended area. Customers on Nationwide plans SHOULD be able to, however, although I'm relatively sure that there are some roaming partners who don't support it for some reason.

You are correct. The whole thing with the NW price plan is that pix/flix/GIN would be available in more places (I.e: extended network) however it is not available in some extended network areas.
