So? When you return the phone your NE2 date will be reset to prior as well as your contract end date. Calm down. You won't have to pay full retail. Be cool. Return the phone. Keep your return receipt. Come back on the 21st. Don't try to do this all in one day though. Return the Glyde now.

No. They won't. New every two is bait (reward). That $50 or $100 dollars (depending on your price plan) is more than made up when you serve the next twenty months of your contract. Just don't do it all in one day at the same store. You're not doing anything wrong, but you are making a lot of work for some people and they can't sell those phones now. Honestly, it can be a bit irritating to deal with customers who continuously return phones. In your case though your sales rep needs to be horse whipped. He should have talked you out of the Glyde. I know he is good enough to have done so. LOL

You wont be able to get the storm. If you have already had one exchange, the system will not allow another wfg exchange. If you get a sympathetic manager you may get another exchange but due to the demand of the storm, you may not get it. There will be a lot of customer trying different tricks to get the phone.

I dont think you will get the storm. You have already had one exchange. There will be a lot of other customers trying to get the phone who are not eligible, which will cause managers to be strict with the rules.

He'll get it. As long as he follows my advice and returns that Glyde immediately. In fact, he should have already returned it by now. If he tries to conduct both transactions on the 21st...yeah, he's going to encounter some pushback.

My wife is the 2nd line on our family plan...can she port off to her own vzw account...then i port off and join her in the 30 days ther4efore avoiding fees? OR could we just cancel and rejoin verizon on friday and get the storm...we would lose our numbers but??? what do you all think?

i dont even care so much about teh storm...i was happy wiht the curve until that rep told me the glyde had the same features. ugh

Are you kidding me? He had the Curve and some rep talked him into the Glyde. I feel bad for this kid. In fact, he should never go to that store again without someone to protect him from that monster. How can that guy sleep at night? I wouldn't sell a Glyde to my worst enemy... Hmmm...on second thought I probably would. But that's my point...
