I feel like the red headed step child of the mobile technology world as a Verizon customer. I've tried switching, Verizons service is the best (unfortunately)...But they're selection of phones, my god I feel like Barney Rubble!

I know, I know, the "Storm"...another BB to add to the list of 20 every carrier has - I don't care.

Then Verizon TEASES THE CRAP OUT OF ME with the Samsung Saga, FINALLY a new front facing qwerty WM6 phone!!! Woo hoo!!

...But wait, I'm a Realtor and I REQUIRE iR capability on my phone to open lockboxes and the Saga doesn't have iR...

I hate to break it to you but a little birdie (possibly my data consultant) has informed me that we will be passing on the treo 800w as it currently stands (a lot of bugs that couldn't be readily fixed). I have no idea about the treo pro. Unfortunatly I don't know of anything that is coming out that might support ir. The Omnia is looking cool (a lot coller than the Storm) but it doesn't support ir so that is no help to you. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Jesus me too! I'm dying here, I've got all these great choices outside of Verizon but for coverage/reliability issues in my location (and contract issues) I'm stuck with big red and their tin can and string choices...GRRRR...

I'm sooooo ready to ditch this phone I'm tempted to get the Saga and just start carrying around the 2nd device to open lockboxes instead of the phone iR to do it but I know I would just kick myself in the end...

Just painful damn it, painful I tells ya!
