Got an issue maybe one of the techies here can help me with..
My wife has a centro that she loves to death and I have been trying to get email on it (I can receive but not send).
I work for an indirect and tried a program that VZW is using (OZ Mail?). It didn't work at all. When exiting the app, the phone reboots
I deleted the app. The phone then started receiving text from OZ Mail. 1 about every 3 hours. I did some google searching on the problem and got the texts to quit. I had to re-install the app. Fine. Now the phone randomly turns the backlight on. I think that its related to the program being reinstalled. If I delete it again then the annoying text will start.

there is quite a bit of information i would like to share with you.
first, please call tech support to verify this information, as they have in house support tools that i do not have access to.
secondly, you need to verify your data plan; it would be either 44.99 or 29.99. if you have the 44.99 plan you are provisioned to sync your device to wireless sync instead of mobile email (oz mail) and can not use mobile email, thus explaining the issues you are having. if this is the case, tech support has a tool that cancel those text messages.
if you have the 29.99 data plan then the email app for you is mobile email and tech support can assist you in getting it set up correctly.
