Software update for the DARE????
I read on Hofo that the Dare is supposed to be having a software update very soon and it will fix some of the bugs and it said it would fix the reception....is that possible with a software update and does anyone have any knowledge of this update????? I want to get a Dare but I am leery with all the reviews of bad reception. Thank you.

What issues? I keep seeing people say that but I've heard of or seen no issues with the Dare or any I've sold.

What software version do you have on your Dare? The most current version is VX970V05 released last month.

I don't have it yet.....I am wanting to buy one but I have read a ton of reviews on various sites that people are complaining about the reception being not good and the keyboard being inaccurate. I think it seems like a Kick A$$ phone but I don't want one that has reception issues as I live in a "fringe area"

I've had one since the day they came out and I'm very happy with mine. I live in a rural area and I travel around the state very often and I have had no reception problems whatsoever with the Dare. I've never had problems with the keyboard either, but I guess it's really personal preference with the touchscreen.
