It's the same story-people on here go freaking nuts over a new release like it's the second coming, they bitch about the endless release delays (because the phone isn't ready at a time promised or anticipated), they either pre-order or stand in line so they can snap it up immediately when it (or just before) it hits the shelves so they can be the FIRST to have it (the cool factor), and then bitch about all the flaws that need to be fixed, complaining all the while that the phone was rushed when it needed more tweaking. hello??? do any of you hear or see yourselves? The updates will come, the phone will inevitably be what it was supposed to be if ridiculous people didn't whine like 5 year olds over having their latest toy (instant gratificati...

But, please remember, we are paying VZW and they are the ones making claims of greatness. If you can't live up to the hype, don't make it.

Wonderful post. I also agree 100%. Would these people hating the phone prefer they have a smother UI at the expense of the security flaw instead?
As a sidenote, there is a software update for the storm out, and it does improve the "lag" issue.
The phone was a huge success. Yes, there are some bugs that need to be worked out, but that is too be expected. It is the first phone of it's kind on Verizon's Network and made by blackberry. It will be a huge seller for quite some time.

the 5 stars from verizon fans are being countered by 0 star reviews from obvious iphone fanboys. many of them dont even mention the storm they just say it sucks iphone is better.
