BT Question for the V710... I know I know

Whats to prevent somebody from flashing the 710 with the software image that Alltel uses? Yeah, you won't get GIN... but for the same handful of people that kickup about this stupid issue, could this be a theoretical workaround and would give them the OBEX profile they SOOOO desperately need to live.

I hearby proclaim the v710 and everything Verizon bluetooth related to be taboo and unworthy of discussion.

Bluetooth is a networking protocol that consists of about half dozen profiles for basic functionality:

The Alltel flex has a few more than Verizon, so does US Cellular.

The problem is that only the unbranded Motorola phone has all of the profiles and Moto won't sell that phone in the USA directly to the end user.
