I work for verizon wireless and I have a 400 dollar deposit which sucks but I am ok with it my fault. I need to know once I pay off my deposit what phone i should get. I really like to text and play games. I really want a touch screen. I looked at the storm but i am really not sure it worth shelling out the money. Help me deside aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

If you can live with size i would suggest the voyager. The touch is not as nice as Dare or Storm, but having the inner keypad is much better for texting and playing games. Plus it is less $ and you don't have to get the $30 BB feature if you don't need it. After they launched the update on the Voyager OS a while back it is pretty solid.

The voyager is a great choice if you won't use the email and web functions of a blackberry.

Normally with employee accounts, you pay the 1 yr price for the phone that you want. There normally isn't a credit check unless you have had your employee account cancelled for non-payment.

it does change a lot.
yes you have to pay full price for a phone, or acquire one (a friend or ebay). you do need to pay a deposit if you fail the credit check, but it WONT be $400. i think the max deposit for an employee line is like $100 or $125. so make sure your wonderful boss isnt tryin to pull a fast one on you.

It will get busiy. Is it a new store? It took us about 2 months before people really saw us here.

We do have dish network though, so that makes the slow days easier.

I wish dish would sell here. People hear you can't get the phillies (cause comcast sports net is blocked) and they walk out the door.

Once you get the employee plan, get mobile web on it (or email and web if you go for a blackberry) it makes it more enjoyable. You'll also spend a lot of time here, reading the forums.

One thing we did to try and bolster sales is we started ordering in from different restaurants in the area, and asked if we could leave our information there. Word of mouth is everything anymore. We are the third retailer to open in this area, but we are the one with the most new activations by far because word got around about why it was a good thing to come here as opposed to other places.

Odd that you were asked for a deposit on an employee line.

Correct me if I am wrong, by an authorized retailer is a franchise and not employed by verizon so perhaps that could be why?

Not sure how indirects work with phone programs.

We get an employee program, but we still have to go through the credit check since if we stop working there, we keep our lines, and verizon doesn't want to be stuck with a ton of back fee's if someone decides to stop paying.
