my question is that i only have one bar at my house and i am wondering if i can still makes calls and receive calls without dropping... i did not get to test it with my friends phone so i am just asking ...
it does not seem to lose the signal that often..even though it looses the signal it gets it back right away..

I don't know the technical side of it, but the real-life side of it I get just a good of a call with one bar as five bars, at least to my ears.

Absolutely you can make a call on 1 bar. Try and stay out of areas of the house that might create intereference though (like behind a brick fire place etc.) Also, continually update your PRL (*228 Send, option 2) because VZW will spend 4 billion on new towers this year and one may be close enough to you to give you better signal strength soon. (Update AT LEAST once a month, It's a free call).
