My Verizon Experiance.......
I just wanted to share my Verizon experience.
I just want to say that I am in no way knocking Verizon.
What Verizon is = Great Cell Phone Company.
What Verizon Isn't = A Company That Works For ME.
I have had Verizon Wireless for 26 days. And Before that I had U.S. Cellular.
In the 26 days with verizon I have noticed how they do have a signal almost anywhere.
For me, and my use, so did U.S. Cellular.
Phone selection? Amazing.
Us Cellular? Not huge, but notice its getting better.
I loved verizon, and what they do offer, and they are good for some people, but I think I am going to keep my u.s. cellular account...
I know some of you will scoff...but u.s. celular, for me, just works.

Verizon has a great selection of phones. Just as good, if not better than att. Att may get phones first. But verizon still has a nice selection and has done a much better job of releasing phones in the past year.

I am sorry. I guess I just figured, why switch, if I have everything I need right here with us cellular and Im paying less for it. Also, in the end, I discovered Us Cellular has better customer service, in my opinion, every company has problems. Verizon is just not my cup of tea...but it doesn't mean its not urs. Im glad for people that are happy with verizon!

I agree, you get what you pay for. I have my beefs with VZW from time to time, but as a whole, I like them. CS (over the phone) is great, store CS is fantastic, but don't ever try to email them because 99% of the time I get an automated response which barely answers my question. I pay a little more for VZW but I have been with them for about 5 years now. Previously with AT&T then Nextel. Both were great disappointments to me all around.
And I agree, VZW is doing a great job with pushing new phones out to the market now. AT&T had an edge with the iPhone, but I think that edge is quite blurry at this point.
So good, stay where you are happy. For me, that's VZW.

Not at all. The plans were priced about the same. I did (and still do) like the concept of roll-over. But the main thing was the fact that I get a 24% discount off AT&T's plan prices through my employer. That made them cheaper than VZW. BUT, I just found out that I can now get the same discount from Verizon!! So I will gladly be switching back soon. 🙂

I am glad you found a company that does what you need it to. We all are...however you do not have to describe every minute choice you make. This is not twitter...

Geeze man....give the guy a break. He's on a website devoted to cell phones, networks and related topics. He made a post about his experience with Verizon on a forum about Verizon. I'd say his post was as relevant as most on here. Let's face it, we're not exactly debating the cure for cancer here.
