has the $29 data plan changed to unlimited data?

I have been in a couple of stores in the Dallas area looking at the Storm and Omnia. I was told by more than one VZW employee that the $29 data plan was unlimited data for either the Storm or Omnia. Is this correct?

my impression was on any Blackberry yes, on any other data device it's still the 5 gb...

The only 5gb limit is on broadband cards and tethering. PDAs are unlimited.

The actual answer is no. Because $29.99 was never not unlimited 😁 Since introduction, it's been unlimited. 5GB cap only refers to air card plans (as vzwinagent stated).

I like the quality of your response to the original question. I was about to say something similar.

However, to clarify, the 5GB limit is for any Broadband Access card AND Broadband Access Connect (AKA tethering) plan.
