Tech Question

I don't know if anyone here can help but...


I have a customer that I upgraded back in March of 08.

For the first couple of months, he had a couple of Unavailable calls that are 3 minutes apart and his voice mail code had gotten wiped out. We did this 2 or 3 times.

I call tech a couple of times and we reset the vm in the switch and what not. Thought we had it fixed. Nope. He apparently had trouble with again (i got the word second hand).

Short of changing his number, which I don't really want to have done because of the age of this number being with his business for so many years that it would cause havoc, I don't know what to do.

I have had crazy things keep happening until I finally resorted to doing an mtn change before a few times. I've had a few customers that their phone just kept bricking right after OTA. After about 4-5 phones (this would all happen in the store immediately), I would convince them to let me do an mtn change. It has solved the issue every time I've had to go that far. Tech says that's absolutely WEIRD, but it's been the solution. Can't figure out why changing a phone number helps, but it has for me in the past.
