Trouble getting ringtones on Moto Rapture
As for Vcast Song ID...I can't get it to work. I downloaded it ok, and it opens quickly but it never successfully identifies a song. I think the mic that picks up sound is crap! I called VZW and they said it may be a manufactuer flaw. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What kind of cable? How does it work? Do I need special software? Any further details will be much appreciated!!! đ đ đ
Use the built-in micro-USB connector. Try out the VU30 forum for phone specific questions.

I did try posting on the VU30 forum; so far no responses

Wow. I'd forgotten how, when you post straightforward questions on this forum, sooner or later you always get some jerk coming at you with a nasty response.
My last phone, the V325, was hardly "fancy-schmancy" and I was able to email sound files to it and set them as ringtones. That's all I'm trying to do with my VU30, which has quite a few more whistles and bells than my old phone.
But what do I know?
P2K Commander is the software of choice; http://s5vi.vxxxstuff.com/ however you must be aware that adding files in this manner can void your warranty.
Some phones, like the Storm, make this process easy, others make it ~almost impossible. You would think there should be an easier way, especially if you already bought the ringers for your other phones, or made your own.
