I have a question for a verizon rep that see's this.

Is this automatic for everyone, or do you have to call in to make the changes. So another words, if I am content with the way it was before the no roam map came out, am I able to stay the way it was, or is it the next time I dial *228, option 2, my phone will change to the new map...thanks

You must call Verizon and switch plans the new plan (No Roaming) is known as A/C 2 and carries a PRL of 50271. If you do not call in a switch (reup your contract as well) then your new PRL number is 50261 once you do the *228 update.

I am not switching to the new "No Roaming" plan.

neither am I unless someone gives me a good reason to do so, I use my phone in South Dakato, nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Missouri, and I do not ever roam anywhere now, so, I will just stay where I am at, at least till I see what people have to say about the no roaming, if there are areas where they cant even roam anymore..

I also seen that they got rid of the national single rate plan also....
