Thinking of switching......
Just like the subject says. I've posted in the past that I've had nothing but problems with my Voyager.....Battery issues, internet issues and the list goes on and on. I feel as though I was lied to when I bought this piece of crap phone and am seriously thinking of leaving verizon because they will not do anything to help me.
Every time I go into a store and tell them whats wrong with phone for instance this phone has a full HTML browser however I cannot go to retrieve my email on gmail....The phone resets itself....The battery is constantly dies and for an "Entertainment" phone that is unacceptable.
All the reps tell me is that there isnt anything wrong and I want to leave and grab the BB Bold.
Can someone tell me w...

so you sell used/refurb phones as new??
My company doesn't do it, but some of the retailers around here do.
E-Bay.
And save yourself some money until you're contract is up and pick up a Verizon branded BB Curve.
But if money is no object I'm sure the BB Storm is on E-Bay by now.
I don't know if you have much experience buying cell phones off E-Bay? But if not, 2 things to remember; Make sure the phone is Verizon branded and 2nd make sure it has a clean ESN.
Also you may try calling VZW customer service and tell them your thinking of switching due to the problems with the Voyager. That may motivate them to send you another phone.
Oh yeah, I had the Voyager as well and quickly returned it cause it sucked!

Get aggressive and dont settle. If your local store isnt helping, try customer service or another store. And tell them you are going to port. Trust, its cheaper for them to give you a good deal on a curve, rather than have you port to ATT. Phone reps/managers can be pushy, but they can pretty much do anything they want in terms of deals. However, they wont do it if they fell like you arent going to push them.
Good Luck, and try working it out before you leave verizon.

Well I called customer service and they're telling me that there isn't they can do except speak with tech support and if they cannot fix it I would have to contact the insurance company about putting a claim in where I would have to pay $50 for a deductible so they can send me the same or comparable phone which I told them I didn't want. They then said that I could try and bring it into a store and see if they can assist me.
I don't know what else to do here. I guess e-bay may be the only option at this point?
I was a manager for 2.5 years with Verizon and knew my way around the system pretty freaking well, and if someone was trying to exchange something shortly outside of their 30 day trial period, they were pretty much S.O.L. Not because I didn't want to help them, but because the billing system was physically unable to give discounts on phones or give you something free past a certain point. The only way a customer can really get anything replaced at this point is to CALL TECH SUPPORT AND REPLACE UNDER WARRANTY 3 TIMES BEFORE CALLING TECH SUPPORT A 4TH TIME TO GET SOMETHING CALLED A MULTI FRU. That is the ONLY way you can ge...

If I raise or drop the price of a phone by even 1 dollar, my commission goes to pot unless I get regional approval to do so.
For full retail phones, we make next to no money on them anyway, so to give a customer any break on the pricing of the phone would actually cost us money.
Maybe corporate reps can do a lot more, but indirects have their hands tied with quite a bit.
As to the question at hand, you need to call:
1-866-406-5154 and explain the issues with your phone. If the phone is under a year old it is covered by warranty.
I haven't heard many complaints about the v...
