Is the Pearl for VZW being replaced/discontinued?
A relative of mine wants to buy one and the web site said:
"While supplies last" which leads me to believe there is something coming out to replace it perhaps?

There is no update coming for atleast 3-4 months. So I would go ahead and pull the trigger now if your relative wants one. I would steer her in the curve direction. But I know size is an issue for some people.
If there was a pearl update coming, rumors and spy shots of the new one would have already had the web and the blogosphere buzzin.
