I would think integration shouldn't be so hard since I've been able to activate Alltel phones on VZW anyways

I completely agree with your subject. I saw a great deal of bad business after ATT took over cell one, and they were both the same style of network as well. Most of this was just lack of training of what to do with acquired customers so rather than knowing what to do they would just toss the customer around and hope for the best.

Many att reps didn't even know that the 800 number for cell one still existed and if you called it you could get the customer to someone who knew what they were doing.

Also many didn't know that there was a separate asurion phone number for cell one phones so they would give the att based number and asurion couldn't pull up customer info.

The first few months of this I could understand but it's been over ...
