The DARE. question about the memory card
I JUST got mine today and I am liking it, HOWEVER. I had an old razor and had a memory card that I put into the dare. I cant for some reason access the pictures. Anyone have any ideas. thanks in advance for your help.

all pictures have to be on the my_pix folder and cannot be in a subfolder
if your razr wasn't a v3m for verizon wireless, the files are probably in a different folder

I had the pictures on my phone and I moved them to my memory card.. Thats where they are stored. I was told I could just pop the memory card into the dare and the pictures that were stored in the card could transfer over.. let me know if that's still the case. Thanks

it's not that simple
not even phone handles the pictures the same way
non-verizon phones will put them in a different directory
verizon phones will put them in a folder called my_pix
you can't manage your file system from either of your phones
you're gonna have to pop that card in to your PC to fix this

You have to format your memory card. You can either move the pictures to the phone on the razr then put the card into the Dare and format the card......or move pictures on to your computer then format the card.

The razor is already turned off and I cant turn it back on. I dont know how to format the Mem card. I didnt upload all of the pic to my computer..

You are going to half to put the memory card in computer and dump all the pictures on there. Then put the memory card in the dare and format it(to do so go into tools, memory, memory card, options, format...or something like that, Or you can just put the card in the phone turn it off and then back on...should work) Then just put the memory card back into the computer and dump pictures into picture folder.

We moved pix from a Moto W755 to a Dare. All we did was save the pix to the SD card, then put the card into the Dare, and transferred them to the Dare. My son did it, but it took him about 2 minutes.

this isellbasskets likely has a non vzw branded phone. like the person above you was saying he needs to put it in a comp and he will be ok. if he doenst have a card reader they are sold by vzw for 12.99 or less
