Can't find the URL anymore to re-program a Sprint phone with VZW software (allowing it to work on our network).. I saw Sprint Treo 650 a month ago working on our network, so I think I'll give it a shot.

why would you want to waste the time on something like that?

I wouldn't want to do it with a TREO. But I would like to do it with a Sanyo from Sprint's line of phones. Sanyo phones are wonderful. I have never owned a better phone than a sanyo (except for the Nokia's back in the late 90's).

Well I'll giv eyou that.. when I worked for sprint there was NO WAY I was going to get anything other than a sanyo.. My 4900 was large but it was the shizzle! However I still dropped calls, echoed, and got some static like calls (network i'm sure)So really my personal phone with verizon was the one i used all the time (since i was a freshman in highschool) and through all the phones I have tried lg has far been the best.

I would rather "sacrafice" the look just a bit to have the peace of mind the phone was intended and suppose to work on the specific carriers network.. otherwise after all my hard work of getting it activated I find out it sucks.. ya know?
