Activating a VZW phone on the Alltel network.
I currently have Alltel.
When I log into their website, I can change my own ESN/MEID.
What I want to do is switch over to a Verizon phone.
Would I have any troubles?

You shouldnt.
If im reading this right, you have Alltel service and want to bring a Verizon phone over?
If so, and you can change your ESN info and all, then it may work.
You could have trouble actavating it, but im not 100% sure.
But its worth a try.

Try *22800 or *22801 which should force it on alltel ota if the online site doesnt let u do the esn change just call alltel up and tell them you want to switch to another alltel phone and give them the esn if they don't have the same model as you are activating just lie make one up they will activate the phone no problem!! I have two Verizon BBerry Storms working with all data and even getting my email so don't let them say you can't do it!!
