I have the Dare and I have not had that problem at all. I don't carry my phone in my pocket. I carry it in a holster. I would recommend screen protectors and something to carry it in. It is a solid phone, supports up to 8gb of memory. You still have the 30 return policy til 2/15/09.

I actually "hand dialed" (which is the same in this instance) the other day. The lock is fine. I did this dialing cause I was holding the phone in my hand and was just careless. My fault.

Never once pocket dialed, and oddly enough I keep mine in my front pocket.

The music player is.. ah.. it's alright. I have a couple hundred songs on mine (on an 8gig card). Could be just my phone, but it loves to reset in the worst times, or when you're loading one thing and someone sends you a text at the same time. Annoying? Yes. But worth me taking it in?
